Welcome back. This week I want to talk about a common question: what should you actually wear on a film set?
Luckily it doesn’t matter what job you’re doing, the uniform is fairly standard. So let’s start with the basics.
Jeans are a staple in my on-set wardrobe, because you can wear them all day, they’re pretty easy to clean so it’s fine if they get dirty, and they last a long time.
When has anyone ever gone wrong with a t shirt? These are some of my favourite the will see you through any shoot.
Basic grey tee for messier shoots.
You have to remember that there’s a 99% chance that you’ll be standing for ten hours each day, so you have to start out with good footwear.
If you want to go above and beyond, get yourself a utility belt. Dirty Rigger are a great company, but you can also get some decent ones on Amazon.
You’re all set! Have an amazing time on the shoot. Don’t forget to drink plenty on water and wear SPF if you’re outside!
